The idea of developing a soccer directory came in the spring of 2002. Marien Brethouwer, Sjoerd Oostendorp and Dennis Woudt - colleagues at the Dutch web development - web marketing - web design agency i-magic started their web concepts company in their spare time. pup-i web concepts (pup-i / puppy stands for 'jonge honden' in Dutch which means young guys that want to make the difference) with great enthusiasm and share it with everybody.

Starting with other projects but their big passion for football - soccer brought the idea of developing a resource of soccer links.

We now - end of December 2002 - have the first websites listed and planning to grow the next year into a serious football resource where you can find links to club teams, official sites, players and legends websites and more. Erik has recently joined us to help collect links and review websites.

For it's our hobby and we have to realize this project in spare time the progress will not go as fast as we hope it would gone. We've got lot's of ideas to work out but mostly - as you would probably recognize - time is our biggest hurdle to take. It's just a hobby!

Our main target is to build a solution in which we can 'drop' all our knowledge, experience, passion for football and the internet and enthusiasm get a website where people enjoy being around. And remember, we're just around the corner.
